Light and location: The Straight likes a lot of light, but no direct sun. It can also live with a partially shaded place. Temperatures below 15 ° C are too cold for her.

Watering and fertilizing: Spring – Summer: Check every 14 days that the top 1-2 inches of your soil is dry. If this is the case, you can pour the straight (about ¼ of the pot volume). As a rule, however, she prefers to be too dry rather than too wet.
Autumn – Winter: Check less often, i.e. about once a month, whether the upper part of the earth (approx. 1-2 cm) is dry.
Fertilizing: In spring and summer you can give the Straight some cactus fertilizer once a month. The same applies here: better too little than too much. It doesn’t need any fertilizer in winter.

Other care: You can repot the straight when its roots grow out of the bottom of the inner pot. You are also welcome to dust them with a damp cloth.
