Oil-based cleansers such as this one in general don\’t typically need to be used in the morning (unless you have areas of skin that are particularly oily or susceptible to blackheads – then you can use a bit on those areas), but should always be used at night regardless if you\’ve worn makeup that day. The reasoning for this is because dirt, pollutants, and oil-based impurities do build up on the skin throughout the day.

Will this break out my acne prone skin?

Since this cleanser is meant to be followed up with a foaming cleanser (and therefore is not a product that will stay on the face), it\’s generally appropriate for acne-prone skin. We do want to mention that this product is formulated with mineral, which some who are acne-prone are sensitive to. We would recommend reading through the ingredient list to see if there are any specific ingredients you know you\’re sensitive to before purchasing.
